As we are currently developing the new YPSH Professionals website we need your information.

We are especially keen to get information from the Locality Groups but welcome everyone contributing. We can host all your groups materials in a password protected area. We hope to have a centralised resource for your dates, documents, minutes, presentations or any other electronic media you would like to store on-line and share with your group.

About the TP Suffolk Professionals Web Site

 

The YPSH Professionals section has merged with TP Suffolk to make even better use of resources and share more information.

Multi-agency professionals are working together to achieve targets set out in the Suffolk Teenage Pregnancy Action Plan.

The two key aims are:

  • To reduce under 18 conceptions by 45% by 2010 and to see a steady downward trend in the under 16 conceptions.

  • To get 60% of teenage parents education, training or employment, to reduce the risk of long-term social exclusion. Underpinning this target is an integrated package of support to help young parents deal with some of the issues they have to face on a daily basis, such as poverty, isolation and housing.

You will find on the web site key documents about Teenage Pregnancy, sexual health and key areas of support. You will also find a useful message board that can be used to seek advice, information and advertise any events, conferences or seminars across the county.
